Baswanappa wale new english medium school is one of the Top Schools in Maharashtra, India. It is the first English medium school in two districts Osmanabad and Latur. Established on 11th June 1972 with just a meagre strength of 16 students Now it has grown in to a wish granting tree (kalpavruksha). Since 50 years, this legacy is spreading excellence in education.it is an occasion of pride and pleasure, achievement and exburant spirit. It is the completion of the period of almost five decades, such a long period is a testimonial of a successful journey of any institution. We are for the purpose of education does not just imparting knowledge, but to create character, discipline and ethics in the students. We expect our students to believe in courage, conviction commitment, co-operation and character.
So, that they can become instrument of change. We promote the spirit of service and sacrifice to enable them to become the makers of India and worthy to be called the students of this school. It is the result of the selfless devotion and sacrifice of our beloved secretary and the founder of this institution late Shri Bhausaheb Save. He was a man of vision. The institution owes everything to him and to late Shri Baswannappa Wale for donating the old school building which is now changed into a big and new construction. On the occasion of golden jubilee year 2022, We remember the contribution of our former founder members Late Shri Manikaraoji sonwane , Raja Narayanlalaji Lahoti , Hamidali Kayamkhane, Rajabhau Udgrirkar, Malikarjunappa Bidve , H. N. Kamdar , Jaywant Save, Sitaram save and principal Bhalchandra Naik Sir . The present management is also aiming at an all round progress of the institution. Our secretary Shri Makarand Save has given a new face to the school by changing its infrastructure and providing all the recent education facilities.
The curriculum is as provided by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. It takes scholastic skills into consideration. The learning process is based on various skills & activities, which are part of formative and summative assessments. It is our endeavour to develop in each student, mastery over communicative and learning skills as well as maintain good health and physical fitness enabling him/her to live an energetic, wholesome and productive life.
